Deb Rude, age 57, of Tolna, ND, died Saturday, December 31, 2011, at Sanford Health Palliative Care in Fargo, ND.
Debra Ann Christianson was born on November 13, 1954, the daughter of Donald and Gladys (Davis) Christianson in Carrington, ND. She was raised in New Rockford and graduated from Central High School in 1972. Deb then attended Wahpeton State School of Science for a year.
On July 27, 1975, Deb was united in marriage to Tim Werlinger at Edgeley, ND. They lived Michigan, ND, until 1979, when they moved to Norfolk, Nebraska. Her daughter Deena was born in 1981, and her son Michael was born in 1983. They later divorced.
Deb married Glenn Rude on November 16, 1996, at his home near Hamar, ND. She worked for her father at Central Supply in New Rockford. Deb began working for Ramsey Bank in Devils Lake, ND, where she was currently employed for 11 years.
She loved to read, enjoyed her cat, Junior, and liked feeding and watching birds.
Deb is survived by her husband, Glenn, Tolna, ND; two children Deena (Josh) Green, Clay Center, KS, and Michael Werlinger, Norfolk, NE; a step-son, Andy Rude, Hankinson, ND; and a sister, Sandy (Rick) Schulz, Oslo, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Angela Werlinger; and many aunts and uncles.
