Francis Nicholas Piatz, age 65, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2011, at Fourth Corporation Group Home in New Rockford, ND.
Francis Nicholas Piatz was born on May 23, 1946, the son of Nicholas and Lydia Piatz in Carrington, and lived with his family until 1961. At age 15, he moved to Grafton School for the disabled in Grafton, ND. In October of 1987, he moved to Fourth Corp Group Home in Carrington and attended the school at Fourth Corp in New Rockford. The summer of 2009, he moved to the Fourth Corp. Residence Home in New Rockford.
Francis is survived by two brothers, Eugene (Ann) Lucy, Fargo, ND, and Mark (Carol) Piatz, Lisbon, ND; and one sister, Barbara Mack, Cavalier, ND.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Tom and Bruce; and a sister, Mary College.
His family wishes all memorials be sent to Fourth Corporation, 120 11th St., New Rockford, ND.
