She was born May 29, 1934 in Wadena, MN to Willard and Eleanor (McBride) Perkins. She graduated from Carrington High School and attended college at Valley City State. Leone taught in rural schools in Foster County.

Leone was united in marriage to Calvin “Hank” Weber, on November 15, 1957 at Ellendale, ND. They lived and farmed NW of New Rockford until his death on December 12, 2001.

Leone had worked for USDA Agricultural Statistics. She was an active member of First Lutheran Church, active in Eddy County 4-H, and served many years on the Women’s Auxiliary Cemetery Association Board at New Rockford.

Leone is survived by three sons, Paul (Marie) Weber, Mandan, ND, Todd (Lori) Weber, New Rockford, ND, and Jeff (Misty) Weber, West Fargo, ND; four grandchildren, Jacob, Columbus, OH, Sarah, Mandan, ND, Tyler, New Rockford, ND, and Tracey of New Rockford, ND; one great-grandchild, Hailee, Carrington, ND; four brothers, Francis (Margaret) Perkins, Tampa, FL, Bill (Virginia) Perkins, Mandan, ND, Vincent Perkins, Little Forks, MN, Richard (Barbra) Perkins, Bloomfield, CO; two sisters, Phyllis (Don) McCullough, Rochester, MN, JoAnn (Lloyd) Becker, Carrington, ND; and one sister-in-law, Terry Perkins of Bismarck, ND.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and three brothers.
