Todd Georgeson, age 46, of Sheyenne, ND, left us peacefully Friday, January 6, 2012, at Sanford Hospital Palliative Care, Fargo, ND.
Todd Michael Georgeson was born March 4, 1965, in New Rockford, ND, the second son to Quentin and Delores (Geisinger) Georgeson. He graduated from New Rockford High School in 1983.
Todd’s secondary education consisted of a welding degree from North Dakota State College of Science, and a Diesel Mechanic Degree from Moorhead Technical College. Although Todd had two college degrees, he had a love for flying airplanes. He soloed out in 1984, finished his Private Pilot’s license in 1985, and completed his Commercial Pilot’s license in 1990. Since then he has been farming and crop dusting with his father in New Rockford.
In 1990, Todd married Joan Schaefer of New Rockford; they lived on the family farm until their later divorce.
In 2004, Todd married Lori Grovum of Grand Forks. Lori has two daughters, Heather (Justin) Konickson and Shelby Moberg. Heather & Justin have a daughter named Eloise who was born on Todd’s birthday, and she was the light of his life.
Some of Todd’s hobbies he enjoyed were singing, playing trumpet, bowling, hunting, shooting pool, and he was a big Minnesota Vikings fan. Todd will be remembered for his fun-loving nature, his extraordinary charisma and his heart-warming smile.
Todd leaves behind, his wife, Lori; stepdaughters, Heather (Justin) Konickson and Shelby Moberg, both of Fargo; granddaughter, Eloise; his parents, Quentin and Delores Georgeson of New Rockford; one brother, Bradley of Bismarck, ND; two sisters, Lisa Wobbema of Dubuque, IA, and Darcy (Babu) Subramaniam of Raleigh, NC; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Todd was preceded in death by his grandparents, Art and Myrtle Georgeson, Dominic and Aurelia Geisinger; two aunts, Betty Allmaras and Maxine Michaels; three uncles, Gary Georgeson, Dean Georgeson, and Aldon Georgeson.
