Vivian M. Koehn, age 82, of New Rockford, ND, died Tuesday, August 9, 2011, at Carrington Health Center, Carrington, ND.

Vivian Mae Koehn was born in Minnesota on May 10, 1929, the daughter of Frederick and Selma (Swanson) Klein, one of 12 children in her family.  She grew up in Minnesota, but spent most of her adult life in Colorado.  Vivian and her daughter Linda moved to New Rockford three years ago, to be closer to their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Kettering of New Rockford; granddaughter Kelly (John) McKnight of New Rockford, 2 great-grandchildren Ryan and Josh McKnight, and her best friend, her dog Angel.
