Marjorie Beauclair

Marjorie Ann Beauclair, age 74, of New Rockford, ND, went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd, New Rockford, ND.

Marjorie Gildersleeve was born December 17, 1939, at Yuba City, CA, the daughter of Edward and Mary Gildersleeve.  She graduated from Yuba City High School in 1959, and attended one year of junior college.

She was united in marriage to Daniel Patrick Beauclair on June 15, 1963, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marysville, CA.  After a few moves, they settled in North Dakota on the family farm northwest of McHenry where they raised sheep and crops with Daniel’s brother Jim.

In 1980, the family moved to New Rockford.  Here Marjorie spent several years cooking for various eating establishments.  One of her specialties was trying new recipes and watching game shows and doing word search puzzles.  During her later years she especially enjoyed time spent at New Life Fellowship, Hamar, ND, having lifted up the Lord Jesus in praise and worship and hearing the word of God.  Her family was always near and dear to her heart.

She is survived by her husband Daniel, New Rockford;  3 sons, Vincent (Bernadette), Cheyenne, WY, Dewaine, New Rockford, Ronald (Cindy), Moore, OK; 1 daughter, Catherine Beauclair, New Rockford; a sister, Susan (David) Poston, Talent, OR; 5 grandchildren, Daniel Joe (Chelsea), Demi, Darian, Dawson and Dai, all of Moore, OK; 2 great-granddaughters, Lakin and Laynee.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Mary Gildersleeve and a granddaughter Devon Deanne.
