Message: Hello! You don't know me but I knew Marie. In fact, my mother, Norma Bonderud, went to school with Marie and thought she was so kind and lovely. I traveled to N.D. to interview Marie for a book I was writing at the time. She was dating at one time, James McCreary who was best friends with my Uncle Clarence. My book is about my Uncle's life and of course his friends.

I grieve with you at Marie's passing. I met Marie in 2008 through an introduction by my late friend, Elaine Gussiaas. Marie was one of the most vibrant and wittiest gals I'd ever met. I liked her right from the beginning of our meeting. She will be missed! You may read of her story contributions in my book, soon to be published, "Clarence, Carrington's Own".

May you be filled with peace and many rich memories!

 A Friend,

Catherine Walker

Message: I am so sorry, Barb and Jerome, for your loss of Marie.  She was like a second mom to us when we were growing up. Marie had the same birthday as we did, and I appreciate her great compassion as a nurse when my mom and dad were ill.  She was so kind.  Blessings to you all as you go through these tough days without her.
