Tammy L. Cellmer

Tammy Cellmer, age 52, of San Jose, CA, formerly of Barlow, ND, died Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at her home after an eight year battle with breast cancer.

 

Tammy Lynne Cellmer, the daughter of Laverne and Vonda Cellmer of Barlow, ND, was born November 5, 1961, in Jamestown, ND.  She was baptized by Rev. R.S. Roesler at Trinity Lutheran Church in Carrington on December 31, 1961, and confirmed on April 11, 1976, at Grace Lutheran Church in Carrington by Rev. Carlyle Roth.  Tammy attended school in Carrington and graduated in 1980. She attended college at NDSU-Bottineau, ND, and graduated with an associate degree in Science. Tammy then attended St. Luke’s Hospital School of Radiologic Technology in Fargo, ND, graduating in June of 1985. She moved to CA the summer of 1985, where she worked for several years in Oakland as a Radiology Technician. Tammy moved to San Jose, CA, where she worked at San Jose Medical group as a Radiology Technician specialized in mammography until her death.

 

Tammy is survived by her parents, Vonda & Laverne of Barlow; two sisters, Holly (Duane) Schmaltz, Chino, CA, and Darby (Glen) Wolf, Fargo, ND; nieces and nephews, Cole, Anna and Paige Schmaltz and Seth Wolf.

 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Hamlin and Anna Garland and Leonard and Lydia Cellmer.
