David "Fuzzy" Lee Kutz

David “Fuzzy Kutz, age 59, of Sykeston, ND, passed on to his heavenly home, surrounded by his loving family, early on Sunday morning, May 22, 2011. He died as a result of injuries he received in an accident while driving a truck.

David Lee Kutz was born on September 11, 1951, the youngest child of Ted and Myrtle (Cope) Kutz. He grew up and was educated in Sykeston, ND. David lived and worked in Lake Tahoe, CA, for a short period of time, returning home to ND, the home that he loved. He drove an 18 wheeler nation wide, working for various trucking firms. He was currently employed by Royal Logistics of Fargo, ND.

He was an ardent supporter of the Vikings and the Twins. David liked to hunt, fish, read, and spend time at the Jockey Club, visiting with his many friends. When he could, David enjoyed visiting his family in Arizona.

David will be remembered by four brothers, Ted (Lillian) of Madera, CA, Bill of Sterling Height, MI, and Leonard of Florence, AZ, and Wilbur (Dawn) of Bowdon, ND; four sisters, Frances Richter, Carrington, ND, Beverly (Gary) Linafelter, Arizona City, AZ, Amelia (Larry) Boettcher Cambridge, MN, and Sandra (Craig) Poulsen, Arizona City, AZ; eighteen nieces and nephews; and his Aunt Elsa Barry, New Salem, ND who is 103 years old.

He was greeted in heaven by his special companion, Janice Odstricil; his parents; two nephews; a sister-in-law; and a brother-in law.

David was a free spirit who loved life and we will love and miss him always.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Sykeston Cemetery.
