Doris Wrzesinski, age 83, of New Rockford, ND, formerly of Macon, Georgia, died Friday, November 5, 2010, at Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd, New Rockford, ND

Doris Wrzesinski was born August 3, 1927 at Macon, Georgia, the daughter of Robert M. and Annie (Johnson)  Layton.  She lived most of her life in the Macon area.  She took care of her parents in Georgia until their death.  She then moved to Alaska to be with her daughter.  Her health caused her to enter an assisted living facility, and she moved to New Rockford, ND, in 2004.  In April of 2009, Doris entered Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd in New Rockford.

She is survived by 3 children, Virginia Lott of Big Lake, Alaska, Tina Engram and Edward Smith, both of Macon Georgia; one brother, Thomas Layton of Chattanooga, Tennessee; 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, one son Lewis, and 3 infant children.
