Daniel “Dan” Hager, age 41, of New Rockford, ND, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018, at his home under the care of Hospice.

Dan was born on June 23, 1976, the son of Romaldus and Beatrice (Wentz) Hager. Dan attended elementary school in Fessenden, ND, in 1982, he moved to Harvey. Where he attended and graduated from Harvey High School in 1997.  He then worked for Hav-IT Industries in Harvey.  In 2010 he moved to New Rockford and was involved with the 4th Corporation there.

Dan enjoyed country music, especially George Strait.  He also enjoyed watching wrestling, and was an avid Vikings fan.  He was also a good story teller and loved visiting with his family.

He is survived by his mother Beatrice, four brothers Darrell (Daniel), Carrington, Dale (Terri), Harvey, David (Jackie), Great Falls, MT and Duane (Lisa), Harvey; two sisters Karen (David) Rieger, and Shirley He is survived by his mother Beatrice, four brothers Darrell and Daniel Carrington, Dale (Terri), Harvey, David (Jackie), Great Falls, MT and Duane (Lisa), Harvey; two sisters Karen (David) Rieger, and Shirley Kalinowski, both of Sheyenne; along with nieces and nephews Tara, Bryan, Dana, Joni, Christopher, Tina, and Ryan; and 5 great-nephews and 9 great-nieces and several aunts and uncles

Dan is preceded in death by his father Romaldus, paternal grandparents Steven and Barbara Hager and maternal grandparents Bernard and Rose Wentz.
