Message: Our deepest condolences to the Hammes family in the loss of your mom. Alvina was such a caring lady -- and I loved her laugh! You just couldn't help but laugh with her once she got going. I remember her at the school and also later as I worked with her in the kitchen in the Parish Hall or cleaning the church. She was a sweetheart! Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Name: Freda Laber/Sue & Tim Swanson

Date: 1/16/13

Message: Our thoughts are with you all as you celebrate Alvina's life. Freda wanted you to know that she'll be having a mass said for Alvina, and would have liked to be at the funeral, but right now the care facility she's at doesn't allow anyone out or in because of the flu. I'd have gladly brought her, as we'd all like to see you, but please know we loved Alvina and are glad she's at peace now.
