Message: What a beautiful lady! She will me missed by many.  I always loved it when she came into the Hardware Store, she always had a nice smile for everyone, very real, never put on.... and was always so patient if I was busy and she had to wait, or if I couldn't find what she wanted and had to look for a couple minutes. God bless Ida and her family and I hope knowing that she had such a full life and was such a wonderful lady will help you through this difficult time in your lives.

I just don't know what to say. She was one of the sweetest little ladies in New Rockford!  My memories of her go back to my childhood, and her working at Red's Super Bali, and her beautiful quilts!

Her smile lit up her face and it was contagious!

Message: My beautiful Grandma---My memories will be everlasting. Helping in her garden--actually I was just stealing all the peas, following behind her to feed the chickens and gather eggs, Christmas on the stairs, asking for gum and getting a half a piece of Wrigley's gum, waving to her and Maynard as they drove by,saying "knock-knock" as she was coming in for a visit, Easter baskets made from strawberry containers-each with our names on the Easter egg, grandma bacon, her smell, her laugh and her stories. People look for heroes their whole lives-mine lived just beyond my backyard.
