Richard D. Kluth

 

Richard D. Kluth, age 66, of Carrington, ND, died Friday, April 1, 2016, at Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.

Richard Darrell was born on September 17, 1949, in Harvey, ND, the son of Richard B. and Lena (Gross) Kluth. He lived on the family ranch near Hurdsfield until the 4th grade when his family moved into Carrington. He continued his schooling until the 8th grade, he later obtained his GED. He went to work for Klocke Construction, Carrington; until he entered into the service. He entered into the Marines in 1969, and was transferred into the Marine Corps Reserves in 1971. Following his service in the military, he started working at GTA Elevator, and for a short time he worked on electrical towers. Later Richard sold insurance for Combined Insurance and then was the manager of the AAA Insurance in Jamestown, ND. He then went to work for the Jamestown Post Office until his retirement on April 1, 2013.

Richard enjoyed spending time with his family, playing cards, hunting, fishing, and working on cars. He had a great sense of humor, and always had a great comeback. He was willing to give the shirt off his back to help someone in need.

He is survived by two siblings, Janice Kluth, Carrington, Allen (Rebecca) Kluth, Bottineau; one nephew Christopher (Teresa Fetsch) Kluth; Rolla, two step-nieces, Jamie (Jimmy) Roberts, Richardton, and Kayla Lien, Mandan; one great-niece Alayah Kluth; two step great-nieces Tristen White and  Taelyn Roberts; one step great-nephew Collin White.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, three uncles Edward, Clifford and Ralph; three aunts Mable, Elsie and Pearl.

Message: There is no other love than the love of a brother, no other love than the love for a brother.  We are so very sorry for the loss of our beloved Richard.  I know his loss has been great for you all.  You have some awesome memories, and I hope these memories of *JuJu* will help bring you peace and comfort.  Our family doesn't have the words to take your pain away,  we know how sad and painful this is for you all.  Always remember, when you see that bright star up in the sky,  it's a wink from our loving Richard, to let us know he's okay and is looking out for you.  We all send our, love,  sympathy and condolences and we will continue to pray for you all.  God Rest your soul Richard
