Message: Clara was a wonderful teacher of mine, 7th grade as I recall. Seeing her picture above instantly reminds me of those days in her classroom. She challenged us to learn more each day. I have only fond memories of "Mrs Lee". Our school was a much better place because of her presence.

Message: May God bless the family of Clara Lee. Trying to remember what I had her in school, i think it was the eight grade. It was in the old grade school. She asked me to stay after, so of course I wondered what I had done. Turned out someone was writing on the desk top and happened to the ones I sat in. I told I did not do it and she believed me, but asked if I would something wipe them off and I did. She is one one of my favorite and best teacher I had at Carrington School system. I am not sure, but I don't think I even done bad in grades which was not always the case with me. A lot of good kids come out of that school because of her. As daughters of such a fine lady you should be very proud to be her daughters, I know I am being her student.

Message: For Sue, Janet, and the Lee family: I had the privilege of visiting with Clara frequently over the last few months at Sheyenne Crossings. I would often stop to sit and talk with her while she exercised near the windows -- it was important to her to stay active even in these last few months! I'd also drop in to visit in her room and look at old photos together of her family and her teaching days. It is clear that she touched many lives! I hope that you are comforted by fond memories of her, and know that she will be missed here at Sheyenne Crossings.

Message: Mrs. Lee touched many lives during her teaching career including mine.  I love reading historical fiction and history books because of the wonderful read alouds she shared when I was in her classroom in Carrington Elementary School.  I was able to use this in my teaching career to continue to instill this love of history for my students. Heaven has gained a special angel.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.
