Lillian Page

Lillian Page, age 98, of Carrington, ND, died Friday, June 18, 2010, at Golden Acres Manor, Carrington, ND.

Lillian Hennings was born on June 8, 1912, the daughter of William and Agnes (Davis) Hennings near Barlow, ND, in Wells County. She attended grade school in Stutsman County.

On October 14, 1934, Lillian was united in marriage to Charles Rueben Holverson at Iroquois, SD. He was a carpenter and in 1947, they moved to ND. Ruben died in 1954.

Lillian married William Page on November 10, 1955. They shared their life in Carrington. He died in 1993. In December of 2008, Lillian entered Golden Acres Manor.

She was a life member of Foster County Horticulture Club, was a member of Melville Cemetery Association for many years, and served as a judge at the Foster County fair for many years. Lillian enjoyed her flowers, gardening, and reading.

Lillian is survived by a son, Harlyn Holverson of Stratford, CT; a daughter, Sherrill Semmens of Carrington; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and one sister-in-law, Evelyn Hennings of Carrington.

She was preceded in death by her husbands; her parents; two sisters, twin Leona Hanson and Dorothy Semmens; four brothers, Howard Hennings, Roy Hennings, Virgil Hennings, Forest Hennnings; and son-in-law, Jim Semmens.
