Jeffery Richardson

 

Jeffrey DeWayne Richardson, age 55, of New Rockford, North Dakota, died suddenly in Carrington in the early hours of August 15, 2015.

Jeffrey was born in Fort Ord, California on April 6, 1960, to JD Richardson and Shirley Jean Fletcher. He married the love of his life, Lisa Ellefson, on August 23, 1992. Together they had three children, whom he loved very much: Jeremy Dewayne, Chrystal Mae, and Aaron Michael. Jeffrey was a man filled with adventure and wisdom, love and laughter, stories and struggles. Throughout his life, Jeffrey devoted much of his time and energy to his family and friends, doing anything to help them, or make them smile.

He is survived by his three children; Jeremy, Chrystal, and Aaron; two grandsons; Jeffrey and Isaiah; three sisters; Debra, Deanna, and Gina; one brother; Michael, and a host of nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Jeffrey is reunited in heaven with his parents, grandparents, and one sister, Cynthia Wasson.

All who knew and loved Jeffrey are welcome to pay their respects to a storied, loving, wise-ass man who was a loving friend, father and grandfather. His family would like to thank all who held a special place in his life for making him the wonderful man that they knew and loved, and that they will miss for all of their days.

Message: I was very sad to hear of Jeff's passing & also sad thinking of Cindy's passing. I was able to visit with Jeff when he was in Fresno to be with all of us when Jerry passed on. It had been years & years since we had seen each other but when I walked in he knew me right away!!!!  Had a great conversation & caught up on our lives.

Message: I was so proud of the way Jeff took his life back and became a man his parents and grandma Sadie would have been so proud of! I did have the opportunity to see him at my home in Fresno for my brother Jerry's service. The family were all so happy to see him as the man he became.My father Semmie Richardson and his Dad were brothers, both gone and missed everyday by me.His Grandma Sadie doted on her boys and would be so very proud of Jeff.When I was a teenager I would spend 3 week with my uncle D and help him with each new baby he was military and Jean worked.So sorry for your loss :(
