Date: 9/10/14

Message: My condolences to Florence's family.  She was my 3rd grade teacher at "Park School."  She, Lillian, and my mother were members of the Lamplighters together for many years.  Of course it was nice to see Florence and "The Mayor" - as I always called him for decades, along with the Hedquists- and they all were so nice.

Name: Marian Simon Romanoski

Message: What fond memories I have of Florence and Chester as neighbors while growing up and as a young adult in New Rockford.  Florence was ever the "lady" who was so hospitable and always beautifully dressed.  She was kind and welcoming and always made us feel special.  She will be missed but I'm sure that she is delighted to be joined yet again with Chester and the rest of her family who has gone before.  Special peace and blessings to her family.

Message: Our thoughts and prayers go out to Florence's family.  I remember all the good times my parents George and Myrtle Anderson had with the Schmids and Hedquists in New Rockford, especially when my Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Tom Camarda would return to the area for visits.  I was always amazed at how those four girls maintained such a close relationship from their days in Grace City and throughout their lives.  May you, her nieces and nephews, also find comfort in the memories you  have of Florence.

Message: Florence and I taught together at Westside school, until I took Myrt Schmid's place in central.  The teachers often mentioned how close

Florence and Lillian were and how wonderful to have your sister across the hall.  We had many delicious dinners at Chester and Florences.   Amd also hit them at "yule bakke" time, every year.  Many happy memories.  Condolences to remaining family.
