Terrance P. "Terry" Van Lith

Terrance P. “Terry” Van Lith, age70, of New Rockford passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018 at his home in New Rockford.

Terry Van Lith was born on July 20, 1947, in New Rockford to Peter & Dorothy (Fischer) Van Lith.  He attended school at St. James Academy in New Rockford.  He worked at the Swift Turkey Plant, Log Cabin Liquors, the Buffalo Plant, and the Park Board before he started his ordeal with cancer.  He fought long and hard for the last few years of his life battling with the cancer.  Terry loved to hunt and fish.  Gardening was very special to him.  He loved helping people as much as possible and loved sharing his garden produce.  He also refinished furniture.   

He is survived by the “love of his life”, Beverly  Koepplin, New Rockford; son Shawn, Fargo; two sisters, Mary Ann Lies, New Rockford, and Delores (John) Swanson, Elk River, MN; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mike and Jackie Williams, New Rockford; and many nieces and nephews. 

Terry was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, James and Peter.

 

Visitation:  Thursday 9AM to 6:30PM with a Rosary at 6:30PM and Prayer Service at 7PM all in Evans Funeral Home, New Rockford.  

Mass of Christian Burial:  Friday, July 13, 2018, at 10:30AM in St. John's Catholic Church, New Rockford.  

Burial: St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, New Rockford.

Message: Our deepest condolences in the passing of Terry. Our hearts go out to you. I am sorry we were not able to be at the Services. On Friday I had to go see.an orthopedist the again..so laid up. Would love to have your children. I miss them and they are so dear to us.
