Chris Welden, age 68, of Cathay, ND, died Sunday, June 28, 2015, at her home.

Chris Elena Welden was born on July 4, 1946, in Engelwood, CA, the daughter of Josaph and Dorothy (McLaughlin) Dietrick. She was raised in Engelwood and attended school there. Later she went back and received her GED. Chris enjoyed going to Rummage sales and Auctions.

She is survived by 2 of her children, Kim (Andy) Houghtaling, Colorado springs, CO, and Kandy (George) Hawks Fairview, MT; 6 granchildren Margary, Fredrick, David, Mike, Harley and Tyler; 19 great-grandchildren; one brother Leo Welden, Canoga, CA; one sister Cindi Welden, Canoga, CA.

Chris is preceded in death by her mom Dorothy one sister Jody Winters and one son Edward Allen.

At Chris's request no public services will be held.
