Message: I have so many great memories of Doug. He was a great person and a great friend! He would always talk to you or wave and didn't matter who he was with. The best time we had together was when he got the first elk hunting license in ND. Jim Zwinger, Doug, and I went out to Killdeer, ND and met up with Butch Speldrich and Doug got a very nice 6 x 6 Bull. We had a great time and lots of laughs and also some very serious talks. We filmed a lot of it and shared it with many and i know Doug enjoyed watching it also. Terry Wild mounted it for Doug and Doug was so very proud of the job Terry done and the bull itself.
The world is a much better place for having "Super" in it! We will miss him very very much and I truly hope he is now pain free!
Super, I hope and pray we will meet again someday and thank you so very much for being our friend!
Love you brother!

Message: We were so sad to hear of Doug's passing. Carlyle and Doug worked together for years as sheet metal brothers. We hadn't talked to Doug for quite a while, but think about him every November when we make his deer sausage recipe that he gave us many years ago. He was a really good guy and we have many good memories of him. Sincerely, Carlyle and Linda Will

Message: Dear Doug,

I have fond memories of you as a child. My grandparents, Jim and Ann (Ike) Helenske always laughed when you were around and made others laugh as well. You will be missed here on Earth, however you are at peace now. May your Spirit be loved and have fun up there with Mary and the clan. Thank you for touching my life and memories. Jayson
