Marvin Erman
Marvin Erman, age 79, of New Rockford, ND, died Friday, March 13, 2009, at Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd in New Rockford.
Marvin was born December 25, 1929, near Emrick, ND, the son of Sam and Bertha Erman. He grew up and attended grade school at Emrick, and high school in Fessenden and New Rockford. He was united in marriage to Phyllis Jurgenson on November 25, 1951 at Warwick, ND. He farmed near Warwick until 1986. He also drove school bus for New Rockford Public School for ten years. Marvin & Phyllis spent over twenty winters in Texas. In 1999, they moved to Bismarck, and moved to New Rockford in April of 2007 when they both entered Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd. Phyllis Erman died on December 12, 2007. Marvin is survived by his one son, Jeff (Mary) Erman, Bismarck, ND; two daughters, Deana (Mike) Friedlan, Scottsbluff, NE, Cindi (David) Sapperstein, Overland Park, KS; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one sister, Arlene Bush, New Rockford, ND. He was preceded in death by his wife; a daughter, his parents, one brother, one half brother and two half sisters.
