John William Ihringer, age 87, of Bordulac, ND, died Monday, November 24, 2025, at CHI St. Alexius Health, Carrington, ND.

John was born on February 9, 1938, in Carrington, ND, to Otto and Theresa (Zwick) Ihringer. He attended school in Bordulac and graduated from Bordulac High School. Upon graduating, John farmed in the Bordulac area. He then drove truck for Meyer Trucking for many years. John enjoyed working on cars, mowing around town, and shaking dice at the Bordulac Bar. 

John is survived by two sons, Dennis (Tammy) Ihringer, Bordulac, ND, and Mark (Tina) Ihringer, Williston, ND; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; a step-brother, Paul (Cheryl) Bauer, Williston, ND; along with many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by two sons, James Ihringer and Kenneth Ihringer; one grandson Gunner Ihringer; his parents Otto and Theresa Ihringer; his step-mother Rachel Bauer, one sister Barb Laber; four brothers, Lynn, Clarie, Alfred and Paul Zwick, two step-brothers, William “Bill” Bauer and Gary Bauer; three step-sisters, Phillis, Delores and Marlene.

John’s Visitation will be Friday, December 5, 2025, from 1:00PM-2:00PM followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Carrington, ND.

His Burial will be at the Carrington Cemetery.
