Meada jo was born to her loving mother carol (weedie) little wind Olson and her father Ignatius “ping” Jackson jr., on March 25th, 1973, in Mercy Hospital, Devils Lake, ND and is a member of the Spirit Lake Sioux Tribe. Meada passed peacefully with Scott holding her, his beautiful wife and surrounded by her daughters and her parents on July 16th,2025, at 2:09 am at the Altru Hospital, Grand forks ND.

At a young age she lost her mother and was blessed with her parents Whalen and Renita Shaw. They shared their love and guidance with their new daughter throughout her life. Meada loved learning all their teachings they gifted to her. During her young years she looked after all her brothers even with being the only girl. Meada attended ‘Fort Totten school, Box Elder Job Corps, and CNA from lake region state college and was recognized by the governor of ND as having completed the certification with the highest grade in the state of ND.

Meada worked at several nursing homes. Her kind heart helped aid in the care of her patients after working over 6 years as a CNA. She then worked in the construction field, flagger, then off road truck driver of a six- wheeled truck.

Meada became the mother of her first two beautiful children, her only son James Alberts Jr. and her first-born daughter Miranda dawn Alberts. Meada also cared for her niece ulanda two hearts who she considered her daughter as well. At the age of 23 she met the love of her life “her prince charming” Scott A jetty while attending a wedding dance. They exchanged marriage vows June 19th, 1998. After they were married Scott bought them a three-bedroom home and lived next door to his father on the jetty farm. The day they were married Scott took Miranda and James jr. as his own. Scott bought them clothes to fit the farm life and dressed them up as little cowboys and cowgirls. They had acres to ride their toys and Meada enjoyed watching them from the deck. Meada and Scott then expanded their family when Meada had a reverse surgery to fulfill their dreams of having some more children. They were then blessed on May 17th, 2001, with their daughter Shanae jean jetty. Meada got to experience being a stay-at-home mommy full time. Then on December 17th, 2003, they were blessed with their last Babygirl Shanese Jade Jetty. Meada and Scott went on many adventures together the best being with their children. Meada loved when her house was filled with love and laughter of all her babies. Scott always gave Meada anything she asked for, if she wanted it, she got it. No matter what life threw at them they went through it hand and hand. They traveled all the United States as one big happy family. Celebrating their 10th anniversary in Cancun, Mexico. They also celebrated her 25th anniversary by renewing their wedding vows in the St. Michael’s catholic church. She enjoyed her leisure activities such as sewing and beading, making different kinds of jewelry and enjoying her different social media platforms. Meada was also an excellent cook. She also enjoyed cruzin around listening to her tunes. She also loved being outside doing different activities such as gardening. Her favorite pastime was hanging with her family. Meada had one of the biggest hearts she had a heart of gold. Meada had many friends who she cared for deeply.

Her next chapter in life was she was blessed with her first grandson Marcus “beba” Curley JR, who joined the family in 2014, then Martez Wayne Curley was welcomed into this world in 2016 and sadly gained his angel wings early, and in 2019 her greatest joy Evan Lee Jetty was born.

Meada shared her whole heart with those she loved. Her caring, giving and being there to help others will be a cherished memory and teaching left to her children and grandchildren to hold dear. Her protective love as a wife, mother and grandmother is another gift for our hearts.

She spent her last years enjoying family time. Meada will be missed by many, her laugh and her heart of gold.
