Eric Joseph Martin, 30, passed away on August 21, 2025 at Altru in Devils Lake, ND.
Eric Joseph Brian (Eric John) Martin was born on September 23, 1994 to Valentina Lee Martin and the late, Franklin Spottedbird in Devils Lake, ND. He attended Four Winds High School.
He is survived by his mother, Valentina Martin; uncles, Winterhawk Oldrock, Jayme “Reco” Littleghost, Merall Ironhawk Jr., Aaron Ironhawk, Stacy Feather Jr., Calvin Feather, Clint Keo, Garrett Mudgett, and Vernon Spottedbird Sr.; aunties, Sharon Ann Feather and Tara Spottedbird; grandmas, German Demarce and Delphine Longie and many cousins, aunties and uncles.
He is preceded in death by his dad, Franklin Spottedbird; grandmas, Carmon Oldrock, Joyce Peltier, Cheryl Tomahawk and Tammy Tomahawk; grandpas, Stacy Littleghost, Stacy Feather Sr., Allen Tomahawk, Billy Tomahawk, Frank Tomahawk and Robert Oldrock; uncles, Juleon Reno Littleghost, Kenneth Spottedbird and Kevin Spottedbird and nephew, Hayden Littleghost.

Eric’s Wake/Visitation will be Wednesday, at 5:00PM followed by a Prayer Service at 7:00PM all at Fort Totten Rec. Center, Fort Totten, ND.
Friends wishing to join the procession from New Rockford to Fort Totten/St. Michael may gather on the St. Jerome’s road, Fort Totten, prior to 4:15PM.
A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 10:00AM at Fort Totten Rec. Center, Fort Totten, ND.
His Burial will be at the St. Jerome Cemetery, Fort Totten, ND.
