  1. We are so sorry to her of sweet Cindy’s passing. She was such a delight and always had a smile on her face and a kind word. We met Cindy when we first visited my mom, Mari Ann Peterson, who is a resident at Golden Acres. Cindy loved both my mom and dad (Pete) and was always “looking out” for them, especially for Mom after Dad passed away 6 years ago. We live in Virginia so are only able to visit Mom in the summer, but we always looked forward to getting to see Cindy and give her lots of hugs. Our daughter, Ari, loved coloring with her and with Alta Winters and they were always so sweet to include her. We received many wonderful cards and letters from Cindy as well as some of her beautiful coloring pages and crafts that she made. We will miss her dearly and know that all who knew her will be missing her, too. We look forward to the day when we will see her again and she will be completely healed. Until then, please know that we are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers for comfort, healing, and peace. With love and prayers, Kylie, Don and Ari Hensley

  4. I used to love spending time with Cindy when I worked at Golden Acres. She always had a smile or a joke to tell when I saw her. Her crafts were a huge help with things to share with the Children’s Hospital in Fargo for Easter and Christmas. She will be missed by all who knew her and enjoyed her company. Prayers for the family during this difficult time.

  14. So sorry to hear of Cindy passing away. I have so many fun memories of her while i worked at Golden Acres, as well as the years following when visiting my Grandpa Joe there. Cindy was always full of smiles and wise cracks. She was a hoot to visit with! She always managed to get me to buy the crafts that she was making so she had some casino money. 🙂 She was a great lady.
