Marlin G. Bjornson

Marlin Bjornson, age 69 of Tacoma, WA, formerly of New Rockford, ND, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at the Orchard Park Health and Rehabilitation Center in Tacoma, WA.

Marlin Gordon Bjornson was born on September 23, 1950 to Mervin and Beverly (Beck) Bjornson in New Rockford, ND.  He graduated from New Rockford High School in 1968 and attended college at Minot State and Wahpeton SSS.  Marlin lived and worked most of his adult life in the Seattle, WA area.

He is survived by his mother, Beverly Bjornson, New Rockford, ND; sisters, Pam (Bruce) Luehmann, Alexandria, MN, Pat (Buster) Gilliss, Bismarck, ND and Lynne (Rick) Grinsteiner, Devils Lake, ND; seven nieces and nephews and special friends, Jon Hanson and Twyla Smith.

Marlin was preceded in death by his father, Mervin Bjornson; brother, Jeff Bjornson; grandparents, Grace & Martin Bjornson and Ed & Olga Beck.

Visitation will be from 9:00AM – 5:00PM on Monday, September 14, 2020  at the Evans Funeral Home, New Rockford, ND.

Private Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2020  at Evans Funeral Home, New Rockford, ND.

Burial will be at the Prairie Home Cemetery, New Rockford, ND.

  5. Bev & girls my heart aches for all you! Bev the loss of a child is something I can’t comprehend :'( Girls losing a brother sucks I also didn’t realize Jeff had passed he was a friend & graduated with my brother Steve.

It was hard for me to say goodbye to such a good friend as Jeff was and this brings back even more memories of Jeff along with Marlin when I would be at your home. God Bless and take care!
