Wayne Eldridge

Wayne Eldridge, age 53, of New Rockford, ND, died Sunday, November 6, 2022, at Sanford on Broadway in Fargo, ND.

Wayne Burrel Eldridge was born November 26, 1968 to Glenn and Pearl (Ruff) Eldridge in New Rockford, ND.  He graduated from New Rockford School, then attended college at Lake Region for diesel mechanics.  On August 1, 1996, his son Hayden was born. 

Wayne worked for Albert Pfeiffer’s farm during high school.  Wayne worked various construction jobs, and he drove truck for Border States. He bought his own semi for about 5 years before going to Park Construction to work as a mechanic.  He worked for Close Construction running heavy equipment before going to work for G&R Grain in New Rockford driving truck. 

Hayden was the light of Wayne’s life, and he enjoyed doing anything that included Hayden.

Wayne is survived by his son, Hayden (Krista) of Fargo, ND; mother, Pearl of New Rockford; brother, Randy of New Rockford, sister, Lisa (Anthony) of Mercer, ND, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents.

Wayne’s Visitation will be Thursday, November 10, 2022, from 12:00pm – 4:30pm at Evans Funeral Home, New Rockford.

His Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 11, 2022, 2:00pm at First Lutheran Church, New Rockford, ND.

His Burial will be at Prairie Home Cemetery, New Rockford.
