Kassie Jo McKay, age 32, of Sioux Falls, SD, entered the Spirit World on December 7, 2022, at her home in Sioux Falls, SD.

Kassie Jo McKay was born June 18, 1990 to proud parents Roger Dale McKay Sr. and Lois Faye Two Bulls of Pine Ridge, SD.  Kassie was raised on a small village on Pine Ridge Indian Reservation.  Kassie had her baby girl Neveah Starr McKay, who she cherished, at Red Shirt Table, SD.  A few years later she had her daughter, Willow McKay.  Kassie enjoyed shopping, walking, and most of all she loved spending time with both families when she could.  She was always in a good mood and had a smile on her face.  She attended Celebrate, a Christian church, with live music and bands.  Kassie had many different jobs, she worked at Subway in Tea, SD, all through high school.  She also worked at the nursing home, Pizza Ranch, and a restaurant in Tea until it closed.  Kassie was always smiling and trying to make everyone have a better day by showing her positive attitude.  She was always trying to keep all of her family in touch with each other.  Her optimistic ways of going about things will go on in all of us, she will never be forgotten, and will always be remembered by both the McKay and Two Bulls families.

Kassie is survived by her loving family:  her father, Roger Dale McKay Sr.; her mother, Lois Faye Two Bulls; her two daughters, Neveah Starr McKay and Willow McKay; all of her brothers and sisters of the McKay and Two Bulls families; and many beloved uncles & aunts, and treasured nieces, nephews and cousins.

Those who left this world before her are her grandpa, Pete Two Bulls and a sister, Kassie Jo McKay.

Kassie’s Visitation will be Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 5:00PM followed by a Prayer Service at 7:00PM all at the Fort Totten Rec. Center, Fort Totten, ND.

Friends wishing to join the procession from New Rockford to Fort Totten may gather on the St. Jerome’s road, Fort Totten, prior to 4:15PM.

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at 10:00AM at Fort Totten Rec. Center, Fort Totten, ND.

Her Burial will be at the St. Jerome’s Catholic Cemetery, Fort Totten, in the spring.
