Wyatt began his journey home with the sadness of the news on August 31st, 2020 near Fort Totten, ND.

Wyatt Max Solwey-Ross was born the son to Tina Ploium & the late Wade Thomas Ross on February 8, 1999 in Devils Lake, ND.  He joined siblings Tiffany Joy, Shayna Leah, and Chantel Dawn. They made their home in St Michael, ND until his parents separated in 2004. In 2005 Tina met Jeremy Ploium and moved to Oberon ND in the fall of 2008. Prior to moving to Oberon, the family became fond of the rodeo family that Jeremy had. Wyatt got more curious about the rough stock in the rodeos and he would sit behind the chutes with the riders. His favorite rodeo was the Fort Totten Days Rodeo. He would always ask Jeremy if he could ride a bucking pony that Steve and Barb Waagen brought. As he grew older bull riding became one of his favorite things to do. He met many good people along that road. He attended Head Start in 2003-2005 and then went forward to Prairie View Elementary School till his 3rd grade year. Wyatt then transferred to the Oberon Elementary School up to the 8th grade. Starting the 9th grade he attended Minnewaukan Public School until the spring of 2016 when he dropped out at the end of his Junior year.

Early on in Wyatt’s life he was the righthand man to the Solwey Ranch as he learned the skills of ranch life and enjoyed every minute of it. Once he was old enough to drive he was there every summer. His life wasn’t easy, but he made it as entertaining as he could. He loved to listen to his music didn’t matter what time of day it was. He would drive around and pull up telling his sister that he was outside. Tiffany was his go to for anything. He would call her and say I’m outside. As soon as he made her mad she’d come back inside because of the stuff he would say, but then would also shake it off. It would be hours outside as of course being his mom always had to check on them and say go to bed now. Shayna and Wyatt had their own love hate relationship and that normally consisted of food. If something was missing from a spot Shayna would put her food, Wyatt always sniffed it out.  Wyatt and Chantel they fought over who is loved by mom the most. Well, of course, the bull-rider would win because he was the only boy and his sisters were his protector day in and day out.  As the years moved on Wyatt became his sisters’ protector.  Wyatt loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and the hayfield. He hunted and fished with anyone and everyone he could anytime and anywhere.  He loved these places so much that he pushed himself to the limits.

Family was his life. He was the crazy one that everyone loved to see and hear, his laugh was so loved.  His love for his nieces and nephews was so unbelievable, he couldn’t wait to bring them to the farm for movie night, hunting, fishing and gaming.  He was the first one to come and give hugs and say I got you don’t cry.  Who did it?  I’ll fight them.  He was one special young man, his heart was gold and everyone loved him just as much.

Wyatt was currently employed with Sylling Construction at the time of his death. He loved to learn new things and carpentry was one. He had always promised his mom he would build her a mansion. Well I guess my mansion will be waiting for me when we see each other again son.
