Tony was employed by Carrington Motor Inc. since 1966; he loved working with his sons, grandsons and enjoyed all types of mechanic work. He was a member of the Dakota Territories Gun Club and an FFA Alumni.
He enjoyed driving the countryside, collecting toy tractors, attending threshing shows, shooting and reloading, and haying with his boys and grandsons. Tony also loved camping with his kids, deer hunting, varmint hunting, and attending the Annual Tulsa Gun Show.
Tony will be dearly missed by his wife, Arlene; children, Larry (Dawn) Weninger, Carrington, ND, Diane (Matt) Murnane, Winston-Salem, NC, and Mark (Becky) Weninger, Carrington, ND; six grandchildren, Cody, Megan, Morgan, Grace, Wyatt, and Erin; sisters, Mary Liggo, Helen Greer, Evangeline Grinsteiner, Sophia Rathbun, and Susie Roberts; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

My condolences to the Weninger family, I got to know Tony while working for Gary and Helen Rosenau many years ago and then Larry and Mark at the body shop. I will always remember is strong “will”.
Dear Weninger family,
We are so sorry to hear of Tony’s passing.
We both have fond memories of him at Carrington Motor, Inc. He always had a clever whit and was quite “a character”!
Remember the good times.
We wanted to send our condolences to the Weninger family on their loss. We have known Tony’s kids & grandkids to be all hard workers & honest; most likely values they learned at home.
Our Deepest Sympathy,
Steve & Jane Metzger
We were very shocked and saddened to learn of Tony’s sudden passing. We had run into him and had a very pleasant conversation only a few days before. We will always remember him for the many times he kept our farm trucks going and also as just a very good man.
We would like to extend our sympathy to all the family of Tony. He did a number of jobs for us and our family. RIP Tony and blessings to all of the family.
