Tony was employed by Carrington Motor Inc. since 1966; he loved working with his sons, grandsons and enjoyed all types of mechanic work. He was a member of the Dakota Territories Gun Club and an FFA Alumni.

He enjoyed driving the countryside, collecting toy tractors, attending threshing shows, shooting and reloading, and haying with his boys and grandsons. Tony also loved camping with his kids, deer hunting, varmint hunting, and attending the Annual Tulsa Gun Show.

Tony will be dearly missed by his wife, Arlene; children, Larry (Dawn) Weninger, Carrington, ND, Diane (Matt) Murnane, Winston-Salem, NC, and Mark (Becky) Weninger, Carrington, ND; six grandchildren, Cody, Megan, Morgan, Grace, Wyatt, and Erin; sisters, Mary Liggo, Helen Greer, Evangeline Grinsteiner, Sophia Rathbun, and Susie Roberts; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Anthony is preceded in death by his parents, Anton and Helen Weninger; infant twin; brothers, Andrew Weninger and Joe Weninger; and sister, Lydia Schneibel.

Tony’s Visitation will be Sunday, from 1:00PM-7:00PM followed by a Prayer Service at 7:00PM all at Evans Funeral Home, Carrington.

A Funeral Service will be held Monday, September 19, 2022, at 10:30AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, Carrington, ND.
