Keith Wright, 91, of New Rockford, ND, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at New Rockford, ND.

Keith LuVern Wright was born on October 18, 1930 to Dorothy (Topp) Wright and Lester Wright in rural Grace City, ND.  He completed high school in Grace City.  He was a dairy cow and grain farmer.  Keith married Marjorie Gross on April 14, 1952 at St’s. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, McHenry, ND.

He was a member of the Grace City School Board, the Eagles and the St’ John’s Catholic Church.  Keith was recognized for 15 years of service with the ASC.  Keith enjoyed playing cards, fishing including ice fishing on Juanita Lake with his good buddy Dean, bowling and baseball.  He also enjoyed watching the Minnesota Vikings and Twins.  Keith liked going to the Medora Musical with family, it was a yearly tradition for 17 years.  He loved getting the grandkids ice cream on these trips.  A couple special family memories for Keith were his and Marjorie’s 50th wedding anniversary, taking grandkids to the All Star Lions games and camping at the Red Trails campground.

Keith is survived by his wife Marjorie, children, Gloria (Steve) Wipperling of Wishek, Carol (Mike) Sherman of Carrington, Marlene (Colin) Hoffart of Harvey and Kaye (Keith) Keierleber of Billings, MT, 16 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, sister Margaret Stangeland of Carrington and son-in-law Buster Eckert of Jamestown.

He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Donna Eckert, brother Dwight Wright, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Keith’s Visitation will be Wednesday, Noon – 4:30PM Family will be present from 2:30PM – 4:30PM at Evans Funeral Home, New Rockford.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, December 23, 2021, at 3:00PM at St. John’s Catholic Church, New Rockford.

His Burial will be at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, New Rockford.

    Your husband and dad was the nicest guy. I’ve known him since I was little and you came to church in McHenry. We had many visits throughout the years. He was a person who always knew you and had time to talk. God’s Blessings to all of you.

  8. Oh I remember Keith so well. When I worked at the Rockford cafe , he always had a smile and something nice or funny to say! My condolences to Marge and the entire family, I am so sorry for your loss… remember all the wonderful memories of him ….
